I agree, conceptually it's an interesting project/practice, especially on social media - one comment can set the tone for the later consumption of whoever sees it first. Also, the fact that you use a mode ring to judge the emotional response of a crowd is interesting, because generally the concept of a mode ring is to reflect the internal emotions of one individual -- you completely flip the general intention of the object on its head.
I think this piece makes a really interesting point about group ideas and the way a single person's perspective can get lost in the crowd.
